I'm not sure how generic they'll end up, but I'm working on some thor scripts for downloading and installing, deploying, and data-syncing WordPress. I'll share on Github and post here when they're done.

wynn, makes me excited to use wordpress again. I'd like to see more about using ruby/rails workflows for working more happily with existing cms'. Anybody out there have a parallel workflow for database management with wordpress? eg, test, production, development, migrating to new servers? etc?

Thanks, Kevin. Yes, that's pretty much the heart of compass. In our case we were able to take the half dozen @import's in Thematic's default child theme and via partials compile that to a single CSS file. Here's how we broke it out:

http://github.com/pengwynn/compass-wordpress/tr...

This is beautiful. Sass is a great addition to any CSS coder's toolset, and hooking Sass into WordPress makes it even more useful. Does Compass have support for Sass partials? (Is it a superset of Sass, or does it do its own thing?)
