Into the Raging Sea: Thirty-Three Mariners, One Megastorm, and the Sinking of El Faro

I really wanted to like this book. When Slade tells the story of the ill-fated cargo ship, it's compelling writing. Unfortunately she spends too much time digressing into essays about tangential issues that have little bearing on the factors that resulted in El Faro resting at the bottom of the sea.
